BITS Pilani
Established in 1964, Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani (commonly known as BITS Pilani) is a prestigious private university located in Pilani, Rajasthan, India. The institute also has campuses in Goa, Hyderabad, and Dubai. BITS Pilani is recognized for its quality education, accredited with an ‘A’ Grade by NAAC and approved by the UGC. Internationally, it holds a position between 801-850 in the QS World University Rankings 2025 in the ‘World University’ category. Supported by the Aditya Birla Group, BITS Pilani is one of the first six institutions to be awarded the title of ‘Institute of Eminence’ in 2018. The institute conducts BITSAT (BITS Admission Test), a nationwide computer-based entrance exam for admissions. It exclusively uses BITSAT scores for evaluating student eligibility.
