Originally set up in 1998, GLA Mathura finally became a University in 2010. This institute located in Mathura, UP, is a private university whose campus is set in an area of 110 acres. The university offers different courses in UG, PG, Diploma, Certificate and research levels.
The subjects or the fields in which the GLA university offers these courses are Engineering & Technology, Business Management, Polytechnic, Applied Sciences & Humanities, Pharmaceutical Research, and Education.
The vision of the college is to create a remark of being a pace-setting university that focuses on research, education, and development in established and emerging professions. The college has over 600 faculty members with an alumni base of 17,000 students. The different courses offered by GLA in the undergraduate programmes are B.Tech, B.Sc, BCA, B.Pharm, B.ED, BA, B.Com, BBA, BA LLB.
The courses offered by GLA in the post graduate/masters program are M.Tech, M.Sc, MCA, MBA, M.Pharm. Altogether, they offer 36 undergraduate and 23 post graduate courses in their university. Other courses offered by the university are 8 Diploma courses, 4 certificate courses, and 14 PhD courses.
They offer certificate courses in subjects like yoga and meditation, CAD,CAM, fitness trainer, and computer hardware and networking. The admission in GLA Mathura is done through the GLAET Entrance Exam that is conducted by GLA University itself. So, they choose their students based on their in house university exam. The university is known for having different cells like innovation cell, entrepreneurship cell, and Newgen IEDC for promotion of different activities.
GLAET is an online MCQ exam taken for different courses. They offer different kinds of GLAET exams for the courses like PhD and short term courses. The major exams of the National levels are also mandatory to be given for applying in this university for specialised courses like MBA and M.Tech.
