Karpagam University is a deemed university established in the year 2008. Karpagam Academy of Higher Education (KAHE) established pursuant to Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956 is approved by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India.
Promoter Dr. R. Vasanthakumar is the President of Karpagam Charity Trust (KCT) and is a philanthropist, industrialist, entrepreneur, and cultural promoter.
