About Manipal Academy of Higher Education
Located in Karnataka, Manipal Academy of Higher Education was established in 1953. It is a private university and has been declared an Institution of Excellence by the Government of India. NAAC has also accredited MAHE with an ‘A++’ grade. It is UGC recognised and certified by ISO.
Manipal Academy of Higher Education has over sixty years of experience in the education world. It also has one offshore campus in Dubai, UAE, and 3 off-campus sites in Bengaluru, Jamshedpur, and Mangaluru. MAHE houses more than 35,000 students with over 9,000 supporting services.
MAHE Karnataka has been ranked 3 and 14 under the ‘University’ and ‘Overall’ categories, respectively in the NIRF 2025 rankings.
