SRM University Amaravati is a Deemed University that was established in the 2017 by SRM Trust under Andhra Pradesh Private Universities Act 2016. The University is a part of SRM Group and is situated in Guntur, Andhra Pradesh.
SRM Amaravati has collaborations with the University of California Berkeley, MIT USA, and EFREI France. The university is approved by AICTE and UGC. It offers undergraduate and postgraduate and PhD courses in multiple streams.
It is a is a multi-stream research university with a focus on diverse fields. The college offers courses in the streams like engineering, sciences, liberal arts, management, etc. Their vision is to emerge as a world-class university that is globally connected, nationally relevant, and regionally transformative. They have a 100% Faculty with international exposure, with a 10:1 Student faculty ratio, a 100 acre Campus designed by world renowned architects, and 60+ Collaborations with the world’s best universities. The college is one of the best in the country because of various reasons and one of them being it has revamped how the programs are offered, and the curriculum is designed. The college is increasing focus on experiential learning (learning through doing) and technology-enabled active learning. SRM University-AP has introduced 'Inter-Disciplinary Experiential Active Learning' (IDEAL). It was the first educational institute to be established in Amaravati, Andhra Pradesh with a vision of providing quality education and international exposure.
